Smithy Bridge Wind Band

First on in the wind band section, Smithy Bridge,
conducted by Mrs Conway, looked and sounded
brilliant as they worked their way through a
set containing The Clough Top March, Gospel
Rock and Fiesta. They then slowed the tempo
with My Heart Will Go On and cranked it up
again to finish with a rousing version of
Born To Be Wild.

The Adjudicator made complimentary
remarks before awarding them an
Honours Certificate.

Littleborough Primary School also gained
an Honours Certificate in this class and
both schools continued to entertain by
playing a set together, which shows just
how versatile these youngsters are!
