The Sword in the Stone

As part of our myths and legends work we looked at the legend of
‘The Sword in The Stone’.  A mysterious stone with a sword embeded
in it appeared in class one morning and however hard we pulled,
tugged and wrenched at it we just couldn’t get it out.  Mr Marron
thought he had a spell to help and was miraculously able to pull
out the sword with no effort at all. Class 8 were very impressed,
especially after we felt the weight of the sword!
