Our Christmas Assembly

This week at school we have welcomed the vicar
from the local Methodist church, Helen Johnson.
She told a wonderful, thought provoking story
to the children, linked to Christmas. We also
welcomed back the Reverend Margaret Smith
who performed a wonderfully lively assembly
with songs about the true meaning of Christmas.
On our final assembly our stable scene was
recreated and we lit the fourth candle of advent
to reflect on the very night that Christ was born
and the true meaning of Christmas.  The week
was finished off with our Christmas sing along
with our very own Smithy Bridge teacher choir ……….
