Skipping Day

As part of a Whole School 'Skipping Day', we were very
lucky to receive a visit to Nursery where all the children
were given a skipping lesson. We found out the correct
way to hold the rope, turn the rope in a 'windmill' and
then jump over it. Although it was tricky, the Nursery
children tried really hard. They also enjoyed being part
of a Whole School Assembly at the end of the day,
where we watched children from Year 1 to Year 6
demonstrate some fantastic skipping tricks.
